Christmas in July??

This year is really flying by!
Silver Sixpence have been working on some beautiful new wedding stationery packages and have been busy making plans for upcoming weddings next year! I can't wait!

Most recently we were asked to design a wedding card postbox for a Christmas wedding. (I love Christmas!!!) We were so pleased with the result and most importantly, so was the bride!

English Country Garden Style

This has to be one of my favourite trends at the moment. It seems that many brides feel that way too, as I've had the pleasure in designing these beautiful invitations for two summer weddings!
I can't wait to see the photos, and really hope the sun shines for the rounders match after the wedding breakfast! I love this idea!!

New Wedding Stationery projects!

It has been far too long since I last posted on the blog! (tut tut)
After the success of the last wedding fayres, I have been busy producing gorgeous wedding stationery for lovely brides.
But that is no excuse... so I promise to be on here a lot more frequently with lots of beautiful things to share.
To begin with here are some of the new invitations I've recently been working on,

Wedding Fayres!

Apologies for the lack of posts lately, January has flown by and Silver Sixpence has been really busy with enquiries and preparing for February's wedding shows.
We are exhibiting at 3 fayres in 3 weeks, so lots of baking and stationery to be made!

Last Sunday we had a fab time at a Vintage Fayre in the Old Library, Custard Factory. If vintage is your style, then this fayre was the place for inspiration and ideas to make your wedding perfect!

Today we had the pleasure of exhibiting at The Belfry Hotel, and what a day we've had! We met so many lovely brides and grooms, and have a huge number of quotations to send out this week! :-)

Next Sunday, what could be a better way to spend Valentines Weekend than beginning to plan your big day? We are at Chesford Grange, Nr Kenilworth, be sure to stop and say hello!

Christmas at Silver Sixpence!

This was the view from our house this morning... beautiful!
Then finally finished the office Christmas tree... not sure I'd recommend making this yourself as it took many hours, in freezing temperatures to jigsaw the shape... and don't get me started on painting all the edges... Aaaargh! Was worth it in the end though!

Marcel the puppy!

Had to blog this, as I have never seen a puppy as cute as this one!
My friend has a new member of the family - a French Bulldog called Marcel!
Gorgeous!!!!

It's Christmas!!

Inspired by the snowy weather this week,
we have put up our Christmas tree at home...
just for two naughty cats to attempt to destroy
for the rest of the month!

We exhibited at Tamworth Castle this weekend and they went down a treat.
